Medical Scientists do research, directing studies to investigate prevention and treatment of human and animal diseases. They are often medical professionals (physicians, dentists, pharmacologists, and pathologists) who focus on research. They explore human and animal health ahd physiology. They evaluate effects of chemicals, pesticides, gasses, analyzing organs, tissues and cell samples to identify toxins.They develop methods, instruments for research purposes, analyze data, and write and publish results in journals as well as presenting findings to scientific groups or the general public and meeting with research sponsors.
