Event Coordinator
Plan and coordinate all aspects of a conference, convention, or other large gathering. Consult with client to determine the goals and requirements of the event. Arrange transportation, accomodations, catering, printing, and special considerations for those who will attend. Schedule necessary staff and services to provide space, equipment (tables, chairs, etc.), security, and services (check-in, food, etc.). Coordinate the provision of audio-visual equipment and electrical access. During the event, supervise all activities and solve any problems that arise. Track communications, expenses, and payments. Listen carefully, communicate clearly, and manage many coordinating activites at once.
