Evaluate proposed sites and systems and develop written reports and drawings to meet specifications within a defined budget. Listen to the concerns and requirements of farmers, developers, and governing councils, draft solutions, and collaborate with engineers, contractors, and others who are involved and make any necessary changes.Share knowledge about the science and management of ground water, water quality, use of water resources, river flow, runoff, and pollution and make informed recommendations.Design and oversee the construction of irrigation, drainage, and flood control systems as well as electric-power distribution systems in rural areas.
