Oil Driller or Oil Rig Operator (Derrick Operators, Oil and Gas)
These Oil Rig Drillers and Operators rig and operate drilling equipment, derrick equipment and inspect derricks to create and maintain safe and proper operating conditions. They set and secure the euipment and the structure of the rig itself. Pumps are regulated to circulate mud through the drill hole. Correct levels of drilling fluid and proper weight and viscosity are monitored.They clean and repair equipment such as pumps and tanks.
