Financial advisors develop financial plans for clients that are tailored to meet that person’s goals and best interest regarding increasing imcome or investment positions and retirement picture.. They work in offices or meet in client’s homes or offices. Many are self-employed, some sell insurance or are registered to sell securities. They interview clients to determine their assets, income, expenses, insurance coverage, pension plans, current investments, tax status, risk tolerance and other information appropriate to creating a financial plan.They answer client’s questions and analyze the overall financial picture to develop strategies to optimize plans achieve financial goals.They recommend approaches in each area that will combine to constitute a comprehensive plan for cash management, investments, taxes, insurance, and other relevant aspects of the financial plan. With client consent, they implement the plans and strategies.They may refer clients for help in certain specialized areas of competence.
