Customer Service Representatives respond to complaints of requests for product information, usually by phone, sometimes in person. They use communication skills and product knowledge in order to take orders, cancel accounts, address complaints and make appropriate changes to resolve problems. Computer skills must be adequate for record keeping, contract negotiations, billing issues and payments. Referrals are made for tech support or customer grievances.
